My Favorite Quote Concerning Children

I guess if I had to really choose a favorite quote it would be the one from Forest E. Witcraft that hangs in my home.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”

  1. You quoted one of my favorite quotes. The quote is so true for teachers. It won't matter how much money we had. What matters is that we were important in the life of a child. And the world may be a better place because of that. We never know what kind of influence we are leaving behind.

  2. I love those ExxonMobil commercials supporting teachers in which the adult remembers a teacher who greatly impacted their life, and is credited with their success. There are some other ads where celebrities remember their favorite teachers.
